Nearly all my .psd resources are grouped from the background effects and ect. The easiest way for you to use them it to drag and drop the element from the .psd you downloaded to your new canvas or document you need the element in. For any further help you can ask me by commenting here or on the free resource.
You can edit most of the layers using the "blending options" and some of the flattened elements could be easily edited by using the hue option by clicking CTRL + U.
